Hi, I'm Juliana! 𓂃🖊

Juliana Zammit recently graduated from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She is currently a journalist with MaltaToday, focusing on news and feature writing, while also contributing to publications such as the Eurodesk Youth Portal, Pulse Z, and the Europe-wide publication Last Call Europe. In 2025, she received the IGM Award for Upcoming Journalist.

Beyond journalism, Juliana has a strong passion for photography, creative writing, poetry, and storytelling in all its forms. She writes both poetry and books, using writing as a way to explore emotion, identity, politics, and human connection. She often describes herself as someone driven by curiosity, which pushes her to get involved in everything from media and policy to social initiatives and creative projects. She maintains her own blog, and other social media platforms on activism, mental health and european affairs.

Alongside her journalistic work, she supports local organisations and political movements, including Momentum, ADPD – The Green Party, and Żgħażagħ Għall-Bidla, through social media management, communications, and planning.

She also serves on the Social Policy Sub-committee within KNÅ» and is the Public Relations Officer for the MCAST Student Council. Through her work, Juliana aims to amplify youth voices, explore social and political issues, and create spaces where storytelling and activism meet.
